How to have my vehicle inspected?

To have a vehicle inspected, it must be brought by the owner, a first-degree relative, or the authorized driver to one of the MVPI Periodic Inspection Stations spread across the Kingdom.

The fees for periodic inspection vary depending on vehicle type, and whether it is a new inspection or re-inspection.

When is vehicle inspection required?

For new private vehicles, periodic inspection is made three years after the first vehicle license is obtained and then are inspected annually. For taxis, buses, and public transport vehicles, inspection is made two years after the first vehicle license is obtained and then are inspected annually. Please note that MVPI welcomes any vehicles to be inspected at anytime.
