Is it sufficient to check the truck (cab) only, or is it necessary to bring the truck with the trailer (tank or deck) for inspection of both?

The periodic inspection of vehicles receives all types of trucks and trailers that are subject to inspection according to regulations of the General Department of Traffic. Therefore, you must bring both cab and trailer

The periodic inspection of new private vehicles is made three years after the first vehicle license is obtained. For taxis, buses, and public transport vehicles, the inspection is made two years after the first vehicle license is obtained.

Based on the provision number (36) of vehicle inspection regulations, the vehicle’s owner has the right of two re-inspections within 14 working days starting from the date and time of the first inspection.
